You're welcome to call me cynical if you like but the near universal silence of the right-wing commentariat towards Boris Johnson's pronouncement that people shouldn't try to help if they see someone being attacked would have been a hell of a lot different if it had been Ken Livingstone that said it. Mind you, Ken would probably have been less likely to say it as he had a handle on crime in London, unlike the blond buffoon.
Which is not to say I claim some sort of moral superiority in this case, I'd probably scuttle past too scared to attempt to help either.
