My Stupid Library User O' The Day Story
She (on phone): "When do you close?"
Me: "8:00 pm".
She: "So that means I can come in at 8:00 pm and get books out?"
Me (puzzled): "No, because that's when we close."
She: "When do you close?"
Me: "8:00 pm."
She: "So I can come in at 8:00 pm and get books out then!"
Me (patiently): "Noooooo, because we close at 8:00 pm."
Me: "8:00 pm".
She: "So that means I can come in at 8:00 pm and get books out?"
Me (puzzled): "No, because that's when we close."
