In an impressive display of bandwagon-jumping, a member of the New York assembly wants to pass 'Terri's Law', which would mean that a feeding tube could not be removed from a comatose patient without said comatose patient's written consent, even if they'd previously created a living will clearly stating their wishes. It would seem that dumb Democrat William Colton is confused between the type of non-responsive coma Terri Schiavo was in and the one he goes into each time he goes to work. [via Gothamist]
