The museums and libraries of Iraq will be important to future rebuilding of the country to help the people remember their culture. Last year a team of American specialists were sent to evaluate the state of the Iraq National Library and Archives after the war and reported looting. It's an interesting report (the section of the archives that contain information on Iraq after Saddam Hussein came to power has been almost completely destroyed, with evidence pointing to items not assicated with normal looters) even if you're not particularly interested in libraries (and so therefore are obviously sub-human scum) and is here.
