Some interesting posts, starts with this one, is counterpointed by this one, then the pair of them commented on at a slight tangent here at Pax Nortona.
I'm in my late twenties so perhaps, unlike Halley, I haven't really had the chance to build up any serious life regrets, but my depressions are over the state of me now, not the path I used to get here. So I don't particularly want to go back to the past and tell a teenage me what the future holds, most of my life choices felt like I was not really making a choice at all, constrained by circumstance, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The things I would change are not temporal but physical and mental.
And, as time-travelling De Loreans have yet to roll off the production line, Joel's advice on how to live one's life from today on is worth considering.
