One of the joyless Christian websites wants to shut down the Landover baptist site. That's the Landover Baptists. I especially liked:
The Internet was created by the United States of America - a Christian nation - and should not be used to spread anti-Christian, secular, or non-Christian propaganda and hatespeech. This is our Internet, and we should exercise our position as its owners and as the guardians of civilization to stop its misuse.
Many things. Seperation of church and state, the American tradition of freedom of speech, if the Internet is an American invention then fire belongs to the Africans and the telephones you use to communicate on the Internet were invented by the British and someone explain the difference to these bozos between comedy and hatespeech please? They admit that Landover is a small site which possibly explains why they feel confident enough in attacking it. [via Peter David]
