Well they would say that wouldn't they? Actually, I have no difficulty believing Kelly committed suicide, if only because the alternative requires the suspension of too much of my disbelief. If you want to pretend that there is some ultra-secret shadow government which did it (and only they would have the superhuman powers necessary to remain hidden from our view) then it makes no sense that they would seek to topple Tony Blair when he's worked so hard in directions of which they would approve. Mind you, from about season four of the X-Files I was rooting for the conspiracy because I'd realised they were doing what they thought best for mankind long before we were told.
